Maxim Integrated Korea launched a mobile app for analog chip shopping, the company said on Thursday.

Customers can use their smartphones to check analog semiconductor information and order them as well through the app, called Essential Analog.

Maxim will also provide application notes, blog contents, education videos, assessment kit and data sheet, the company said.

The company will provide Essential Analog toolkit for free that provides around 20 category information. Customers can search which component best suits their system.

Maxim will also notify customers of events and sales through the app. 

The app is available for download of Google Play and Apple Store and supports English, Chinese and Japanese.
