Hisense to launch UEFA.tv app on its TVs

Hisense will launch the UEFA.tv app on their TVs, the companies announced Thursday.

The UEFA sponsor said its smart TVs running on the Linux-based VIDAA operating system and Hisense-made Toshiba TV have the app. 

It is available in Europe as of Thursday. Other regions will also get app in the months to come.

Those who use the app will be able to re-watch matches and game highlights as well as magazine show programs.

They can also watch old matches from UEFA’s video archive.

Throughout June and July UEFA.tv will be celebrating some of the greatest UEFA EURO moments with classic match re-runs, “On This Day” features, historic EURO goals, curated playlists and more.

The UEFA.tv OTT platform was first launched last year in June.
