Samsung to launch Galaxy S20 BTS editions
Because... who doesn't love K-Pop?
Samsung Electronics will launch “BTS Editions” for its Galaxy S20 series smartphones and Galaxy Buds+, the company said Monday.
The K-Pop group themed Galaxy S20 Plus 5G and Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy Buds+ earbuds will go on sale in July 9, the company said. Pre-orders will start Monday on fan community Weverse, Samsung said.
The new edition of 20s features a purple glass and metal exterior. It will also have BTS themes and fan community platform Weverse pre-installed on them. There will be a band logo and a purple heart drawn on the rear of the phones.
There will be photo cards of the band in the box as well as decorative stickers for fans to personalize their smartphones.
“Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition are the result of a collaboration between BTS, whose members spread messages of love and harmony through music, and Samsung, which is creating a better future with meaningful innovation," said Stephanie Choi, head of global marketing at Samsung Mobile, in a statement. “We hope it will be a source of joy and entertainment for fans and consumers around the world."
