Huawei's 1st sales in 2020 up 13%

Huawei posted 454 billion yuan (77.6 trillion won) in first half sales __ an increase of 13.1% year over year, the company said on Tuesday.

Its net margin rate for the same time period was 9.2%, the Chinese tech giant said.

Its consumer business contributed 255.8 billion yuan, its carrier business 159.6 billion yuan and enterprise business 36.3 billion yuan, Huawei said.

The company said the complicated external environment has increased the importance of open collaboration and trust in the global supply chain.
