Display equipment maker Youngwoo DSP will supply 30.8 billion worth of organic light emitting diode (OLED) inspection equipment to Chinese display maker CSOT, the company said on Wednesday.

The deal is equal to 30.7% of its annual sales last year. The contract will last from July 14 to August 20.

Youngwoo succeeded in turning a profit in the third quarter of last year. It has posted three straight quarters of profits up to the first quarter of 2020.

Youngwoo expects profit to rise significantly in the second half of the year thanks to the CSOT deal.

Last year, the Korean company won a 3.8 billion won deal from Japanese semiconductor firm Tomen Devices to supply OLED equipment.

Together with Korea Photonics Technology Institute, it co-developed inspection equipment and cameras for microLED.

A company spokesperson said it will win other new deals abroad going forward.
