Samsung Display has commenced live broadcasting at the business and division level to share its management goals with employees, the company said on Thursday.

The South Korean display maker minimized offline meetings in light of the COVID-19 pandemic but expanded such as online meetings to expand in-house communications, it said.

Executives posted their video messages on the company’s internal network for employees to be notified of the plans for the third quarter. They also commenced live broadcasts so that employees can participate in the discussions, Samsung Display said.

One such broadcasts involved 200 employees of the strategic marketing team. Another broadcast had 600 workers at its Asan factory participate at the same time.
