Beecheon to sell Polytex’s automated textile management system

South Korean distributor Beecheon will sell Polytex Technologies’ automated textile management system for clean room and other work garments, the company said on Thursday.

Workers can retrieve and dispense their work garments with an ID card for the system. 

Thanks to the cards, managing personnel are not required to run the system, which can save cost and reduce human to human contacts, Beecheon said. It will allow for efficient inventory management.

Polytex systems are ideal for high-tech facilities such as semiconductor fabrication labs as well as facilities for research and development, hospitals and hotels.

According to Beecheon, printed circuit board inspection equipment maker Orbotech used the system and reduced its work garment stock by 30%. Israel pharmaceutical company Taro reduced operation cost related to work garments by 20% while also reducing purchases of work garments by 20%.

South Korea’s National Cancer Center was also using Polytex systems since January.

Polytex Technologies was founded in 2003 and has over 2,000 clients in over 20 countries including the US, Europe and South America.
