Galaxy Note20 comes with Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 Plus platform with 5G connectivity has been applied to the newly unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note20 series on Wednesday.

The platform will power the Note20 series’ South Korean version. The Galaxy S20’s version of South Korea were also powered by Qualcomm solutions.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Tab S7 series will also be powered by Snapdragon 865 Plus in all regions.

The platform has X55 5G Modem-RF, which is the world’s first modem-to-antenna solution that allows modem data to be transferred to wireless signals, Qualcomm said. It has a 7.5Gbps data transfer rate.

Snapdragon 865 Plus also has Qualcomm’s 5th generation artificial intelligence (AI) engine that has the new Qualcomm Sensing Hub technology. It can sense its surroundings with very low power consumption. The ISP on platform is Spectra 480 which can process images and videos at 2 gigapixel per second.
