JNTC sees profit increase 200 times in 1st half 

3D cover glass maker JNTC has posted operating profits of 59.3 billion won and sales of 199.2 billion won in the first half of 2020, the company said on Friday.

Operating profits grew by 198 times compared to the same time period a year ago and sales rose 51.1%, the company said.

The company posted 12.1 billion won in operating profits and sales of 94.3 billion won in sales in the second quarter.

Sales rose from cover glasses despite the COVID-19 pandemic, JNTC said.

It has recently wrapped up preparation to supply a 3D uniform 47-inch cover glass. Its connector business is expected also see sales growth in the second half.

It will diversify its business to ultra thin glass for new growth, JNTC added.
