Aruba, a subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, has built a software-defined network SDN at Seoul National University’s campus, the company said.

The company built the network using its Wi-Fi 6-based Aruba AP515 access point at Siheung Campus of the university.

Aruba synced its Aruba 7240XM controller with Aruba 2930F/2930M L2 Switches to control wired and wireless traffic on the network.

Prior to the installation of the SDN, the university had to manage individual switches and had data processing delays but this has bee alleviated, the university said.

HPE said the company plans to offer more integrated network solutions aimed at university campuses going forward.
