SK Telecom said Sunday that its blockchain-based authentication app Initial has been synced with Samsung’s counterpart Samsung Blockchain Keystore.

It will make the carrier app, a decentralized identifier service, even safer, the carrier claimed.

Personal key will be saved on Samsung’s keystore in Samsung phones.

SK Telecom and Samsung Electronics formed the Initial DID Alliance last year in October.

They are planning to apply technology for issuance of some thirty digital certificates.
