Yujin Robot has launched a new 3D scanning LiDAR sensor for indoor autonomous driving, the company said on Wednesday.

The YRL3 Series, with one channel, can scan 270 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically.

This will allow it to have no blind sports and perform accurate mapping, the company said.

The series have three models, each with a range of 5 meters, 10 meters and 20 meters.

They can be applied to autonomous robots and vehicles so that they can avoid obstacles and recognize objects, Yujin said.

The YRL3 Series has been on sale since June, the company said, and is currently used in local universities and research centers.

They are also being exported to the UK, the US and Germany.

Yujin said it will launch a 2D LiDAR sensor at a later date.
