Dreamtech completes third Vietnam factory

It will expand PBA module production

Dreamtech has completed its third factory in Vietnam, the company said on Friday.

Construction for the factory started in November last year.

The factory is located at Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) at Bac Ninh Province. It spans 22,420 square meters.

The company’s first factory spans 18,910 square meters and second factory 46,258 square meters. In total, Dreamtech’s three factory spans 87,588 square meters, equivalent to twelve soccer fields.

The South Korean company invested 20.2 billion won for its latest factory. It will produce printed board assembled (PBA) module and fingerprint sensor modules there. It will also build new lines at the third factory, the company said.

Dreamtech, since its founding in 1998, has produced handset PBA modules, fingerprint sensor modules and smart medical devices.

The company listed on the securities market last year in March. It acquired camera module firm Namuga in February this year and is planning produce Time of Flight modules.
