Seoul Semiconductor has won its patent lawsuit in the US, the company said on Tuesday.

The court in California has ordered a permanent injunction against LED products made by Philips and Feit that were sold by The Factory Depot.

Philip’s signage affected by the injunction use Lextar’s LED package and TPV display.

Last year in October, Seoul Semiconductor won a lawsuit against Fry’s Electronics and won a permanent injunction against Philips LED TV.

Feit’s LED filament are affected by the recent injunction. The patent used for the production was developed Seoul Semiconductor advisor Nakamura Shuji of the University of California. The university last month requested to the US International Trade Commission to halt imports of around hundred products made by six companies, including Feit and Philips.
