Samsung extends Galaxy Z Fold 2 pre-order period

Samsung Electronics will extend the pre-ordering period for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to September 22 in South Korea, the company said on Wednesday.

Official sales in the country will begin in September 23.

The company initially planned to run pre-orders from the 15 to 17 but is extending this due to high popularity, it said. Official sales were initially planned to start on September 18.

Pre-orders for Galaxy Z Fold 2 has exceeded 80,000 units in South Korea, the tech giant said.
