KETI, KAUST to co-develop software defined RF platform 

Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI), together with Gachon University and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) of Saudi Arabia will co-develop next-generation broadband software-defined RF platform.

KETI was selected by the universities to take part in the project.

Software-defined RF platform, unlike previous hardware systems, incorporate software for various features flexibly.

The research will focus on developing a platform that syncs with previous simulation software to verify various signal processing systems.

KETI will develop the hardware and core technology that will be used for the control and management module.

Gachon University will use these technologies to develop a system and test its completeness.
