Nepes Ark has passed the initial review to go public on KOSDAQ, the company said on Monday.

The company will be receiving orders before the listing expected on November, it said.

Nepes Ark is a split-off of Nepes’ semiconductor business. It was founded in April 1, 2019.

The company tests semiconductor wafer and packages from chip makers and foundries. It is based at Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.

Nepes Ark said order from its key client Samsung Electronics was on the rise.

It has started testing of fan out panel level package (FO-PLP) with a US semiconductor company, it said.

Nepes Ark plans to offer turnkey solutions in collaboration with group affiliate Nepes Laweh.

Nepes Ark received pre-IPO investment of 60 billion won in July, 2019. It received 50 billion won from Hana Semiconductor New Technology Investment Corporation run by Hana Financial Investment. Shinhan Capital, Hana Capital and Hyosung Capital also invested in the firm. IBK Industrial Bank and BNW Investment also invested 10 billion won together.

Nepes Ark plans to turn in its security filings to authorities within October. Mirae Asset Daewoo is underwriting the deal.
