Samsung begins premium projector sales in South Korea
Called The Premiere
Samsung Electronics has begun sales of its premium projector called The Premiere in South Korea.
The high tier version has triple laser technology where different lasers are used for the colors red, green and blue.
The triple laser version of the projector will cost 7.49 million won and the single laser version 4.49 million won.
The high tier version can project up to a 130 inch screen. The projector has 4K resolution and has a peak brightness of 2800 ANSI lumen. It has a contrast ratio of 200 to 1.
The Premiere is also HDR10+ and Filmmaker Mode certified. It supports 40W surround sound.
It is an ultra-short-throw projector and can be placed in front of walls for projections.
Sales for the projector began on Monday. It will be available online starting on October 12.
