Seoul Semiconductor has won an injunction order from a court in Dusseldorf, Germany against Philips’ LED light bulb sold by LED distributor Leuchtstark Vertriebs GmbH.

The court said products that violated Seoul Semiconductor’s patents must be withdrawn and destroyed. The product in question was sold from October 2017.

The product was made by Philips’ subsidiary Klite Lighting. Philips has so far four lawsuits against Seoul Semiconductor __ it has faced three injunctions and the latest withdraw and destroy order.

Seoul Semiconductor said a withdraw and destroy order was rare.

Last month, the South Korean LED maker said it has won an injunction order against Philips in the US. The court in California ordered an injunction against LED light bulbs made by Feit and Philips Signage sold at The Factory Depot.
