Synopex launches e-PTFE face masks 

With materials used for synthetic arteries

Synopex has launched a face masks made with a fabric used to make synthetic arteries.

Synopex Membrane Filter Mask uses a triple filter made by attaching a spunbond to e-PTFE, while adding two more linings for a penta filter.

It also has flexible spunbond for the ears and a self-developed nose wire.

The mask was developed with subsidiary SL Biofilter Tech. The fabric used for the mask has a particle collection efficiency of over 99%, Synopex said.

The South Korean company will file the mask for certification by FDA of the US and KF of South Korea.

Synopex will also continue to develop new masks to expand abroad.

The company was developing high performance membrane and filters to localize their production.
