Youngwoo clinch 10.9 bil won order from BOE
For OLED inspection kit supply
Display kit maker Youngwoo DSP has clinched a 10.9 billion won order from Chinese display giant BOE for OLED inspection kits.
The contract will expire on February 26 __ the deal is worth 10.8% of Youngwoo’s sales for last year.
This is the South Korean company’s second contract with BOE this year. Last month, Youngwoo signed a deal worth 22.4 billion won to supply the Chinese display giant with equipment.
Besides its deals with BOE, Youngwoo has won three orders from Samsung Display, one order from CSOT and another one from Tianma.
Combined, Youngwoo has won orders worth 84.6 billion won.
A company spokesperson said besides from OLED inspection equipment, it also plans to expand sales from equipment for batteries and its smart healthcare business.
