DRAM prices remain stable in November 

NAND flash prices also remain same as October

PC DRAM prices in November was level with that of October, according to data from DRAMeXchange, showing that supply and demand have likely balanced out in the month.

Fixed price of PC DRAM (DDR4 8Gb) was US$2.85 for the month of November, same as the their price for October.

DRAM prices will likely no longer fall as notebook demand and production rate continues to rise from remote working caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to DRAMeXchange.

PC DRAM prices fell steeply in October compared to September from the impact of US sanctions against Huawei taking effect. Huawei could no longer buy memory produces and this has caused prices to drop.

Fixed price of 128Gb MLC in November was US$4.2, same as it was for October. This contract with the 3.45% drop in October from September.

According to TrendForce, DRAM prices are expected to remain stable through the fourth quarter but will drop 5% in the first quarter of 2021.

Meanwhile, NAND flash prices are expected to start recovering in 2021, the research firm said.
