KT promotes two to presidents in reshuffle

KT has promoted two executive vice presidents to presidents in its year-end reshuffle.

Kang Gook-hyun, head of the commerce division, and Park Jong-wook, head of business planning division, were made new presidents.

Along with with CEO Koo Hyun-mo, the two presidents will contribute to collective management of KT, the telco said.

President Park Yun-young, who oversaw the enterprise business, will step down from his post.

Executive vice president Shin Soo-jung was named head of the enterprise business. 

The telco’s reshuffle is aimed at finding new growth opportunities besides its main handset and wireless service businesses.
