Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday that its Samsung TV Plus service for its smart TVs will be available in double the number of countries.

Samsung TV Plus is a free video service provided by the tech giant. It was launched in 2015.

The service is available currently in 12 countries. Australia and Brazil was recently added. Samsung said 15 million consumers had access to the service right now.

Smart TVs in Mexico, India, Sweden and Netherlands will get the service next year. More countries will be added in 2021, Samsung said.

Samsung has collaborated with 300 broadcasters and is offering 742 channels in total on Samsung TV plus.

In November, Samsung began offering channels New K.Movies and New K.ID on its US service. These channels play K-Pop and Korean movie contents.

Samsung in September began offering its service for its smartphones. Samsung TV Plus can be viewed through Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note20 in the US.
