Samsung begins official sales of Galaxy S21 in 60 countries 

Company extends pre-order in Korea

Samsung Electronics on Friday said it has launched its latest smartphone series Galaxy S21 in 60 countries.

Official sales will began in South Korea, North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.

By end of February, Galaxy S21 will be available in 130 countries, Samsung said.

Samsung will also extend its pre-ordering period for the smartphones in South Korea due to lack of initial stock. It will now last up to February 4.

The company said it conducted online events for countries where the smartphones will now be available.

Samsung is offer a 3-day renting service for Galaxy S21 in South Korea. Around 25,000 consumers have used the service as of Thursday, the firm said.
