Lam Research Korea names new president
Ex-Applied Materials Korea president Lee Sang-won

Lam Research Korea said on Monday that it has named Lee Sang-won, previously the president at Applied Materials Korea, as the new president.
Current president of Lam Research Korea Kim Sung Ho will become president and chairman of Lam Research Manufacturing Korea and Lam Research Korea Technology.
Lee has over 30 years experience in Lam Research and Applied Materials and worked in business development, marketing and global customers, Lam Research Korea said.
Lam Research Korea Technology was founded to operate the company’s research center at Yongin, which will open in the second half of 2021.
