Mobase wins 90 billion won battery parts order from Samsung SDI

Mobase Electronics said on Tuesday that it has won an order worth 90.5 billion won to supply battery components to Samsung SDI.

The company will supply its printed board assembly (PBA) to the Korean battery maker up to December 2027.

PBA is a battery module. Mobase’s supply will be used for batteries installed in electric vehicles of Hyundai Motor and Kia.

Last year, Mobase won an order worth 19.6 billion won to supply battery management module to Samsung SDI. In the same year, it won an order worth 11.8 billion won to supply battery management system to SK Innovation for energy storage systems.

It also won order from US’ Canoo Holdings to supply BMS systems.

Mobase recorded 788.5 billion won in sales last year.
