GlobalFoundries Korea names new country manager

GlobalFoundries Korea has named former Teradyne Korea president Kim Jong-ha as its new country manager.

Kim will oversee GlobalFoundries’ operations, sales and marketing in South Korea.

He previously worked at Qualcomm and Intel’s South Korean subsidiaries as well as Samsung’s chip business.

Kim has in total 28 years of work experience in the chip industry and will contribute to strengthening GlobalFoundries’ strategic collaboration with its Korean customers and partners, the company said.
