LG Display reduces CO2-eq by 3 million tonnes 

LG Display said on Thursday that its emission of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2-eq) dropped by 3 million tonnes in 2020 compared to 2014.

The company spend 37 billion won to change the gas used in display production that led to lower emission of carbon dioxide, the company said.

It also installed equipment that can reduce carbon dioxide released to the atmosphere by over 90%, LG Display said.

The company will spend over 6 billion won in 2021 to install additional equipment that reduces carbon dioxide emission.
