Congatec forms South Korean subsidiary 

To strengthen local service

Germany embedded and edge computing firm Congatec will form a South Korean subsidiary, the company said on Wednesday.

South Korea country manager Yoonsun Kim said the company will provide strong design support for local customers.

It will also optimize supply chain customers need for their product production, Kim said.

Congatec will form a new field application engineer team for South Korea and expand the size of the team, the manager also said.

The Germany company currently provides its technologies in the local medical, automation, mobility and semiconductor sectors.

Congatec Korea will utilize the field application engineer team, research and development services and return material authorization services at the company’s Asia headquarters in Taiwan to service South Korean customers efficiently without time lapses, it said in a statement.
