Itek to collaborate with Unichips to enter Chinese market

Chip testing firm Itek will collaborate with chip packaging company Unichips to enter the Chinese market.

Itek said on Tuesday that the pair will share market information and analysis of the Chinese market to enter the semiconductor testing sector there.

Itek’s focus in on testing system semiconductor to find defects on the wafers. It is currently executing 16 billion in spending to expand its facilities.

Unichips offers support for customers in producing sample packages.

In May, Itek signed a collaboration agreement with Prowan of Taiwan to enter the market there.
