S-Connect says it is supplying hinge to Samsung for foldable phone
Denies report that it has been excluded from supply chain

Smartphone metal component firm S-Connnect said on Thursday that it was supplying the hinge component to Samsung for foldable smartphones stably.
The company denied a security report made by Korea Investment & Securities that KH Vatec will be the sole supplier of hinges to Samsung this year.
A S-Connect spokesperson said the company has been supplying hinges to Samsung since 2020 and is continuing to do so this year.
They said it has made a formal request to the security firm to correct its report.
Samsung is expected to unveil new foldable smartphones in August this year.
