Earnings from the deal has been reflected on LB Semicon’s second quarter earnings.

Samsung is increasing its CMOS image sensor production as the number of cameras on smartphones continue to increase.

The South Korean tech giant also launched Isocell Auto, its latest image sensor for automotive application.

LB Semicon also saw high demand for display driver ICs during the second quarter thanks to high demand for TVs ans tablets caused by the pandemic.

Sales is expected to increase further in the third quarter from high chip demand, the company added.
