Key Foundry offers new chip design toolkit 

Key Foundry has developed a new semiconductor design toolkit that it says will shorten development time for chip firms.

The firm had previously supplied process design kits (PDK) that support chip design tools provided by Synopsys, Candence and Siemens.

The latest PDK Version E adds PDK setup environment and gate-level Pcells (GCELL).

Key Foundry said the latest PDK supports customized design for the entire set.

The latest kit is being applied to the company’s Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS process.
