Hana Technology to supply inspection kit for used batteries
Company to also develop standard to measure performance of used batteries

Hana Technology will supply its EV used battery performance inspection kit to the Ministry of Environment, the company said on Monday.
The kits will be used to check the performances of used batteries collected by the Ministry.
Hana Technology has been preparing for the battery recycling business since 2019. It developed a new equipment last year that can inspect the performances of used batteries at the pack level used in electric cars.
The company said it will also come up with a standard to measure the performance of used batteries.
The Ministry of Environment is operating multiple centers that collect used batteries and resell them after inspecting whether they can be repurposed or reused.
