Schneider and Avaco to develop battery production kits

Schneider Electric and equipment maker Avaco will collaborate to develop battery production equipment aimed at the global market.
Avaco will design the equipment and oversee installation while Schneider Electric will provide the South Korean company with its EcoStruxure for Battery, its IoT digital platform, the pair said on Tuesday.
Avaco formed a roll-to-roll process team last year in September to supply kits to the battery industry.
It has previously offered kits for display, printed circuit board and semiconductor industries.
