South Korean battery production equipment maker A-Pro will be supplying its charge/discharge equipment to Ultium Cells, the joint venture between LG Energy Solution and General Motors.

A-Pro said it will deliver the kits from its research center at Siheung, South Korea, and begin shipping in October.

The company didn’t reveal precise details of its contract with Ultium Cells.

A-Pro said it has recently accrued 49 billion won in sales as the deal is likely worth over 10% of that.

The firm is also planning to set up a subsidiary in Ohio to better serve its customers in the US.
