Philenergy sees sales increase 6 times up to Q3

Battery production equipment maker Philenergy said on Thursday that it has recorded over 120 billion won in accumulated sales up to the third quarter this year.

The figure is an increase of around 6 times over the same time period last year.

Philenergy offers notching and stacking kits used in battery production.

The company said it currently focuses on prismatic large batteries but will offer kits for smaller batteries and cylinder batteries going forward.

Philenergy will also double its production capacity from the current 200 billion won a year to 400 billion won a year by 2022, it said.
