KLA names new country manager for South Korea
30-year veteran Rollin Kocher
KLA said on Thursday that it has named Rollin Kocher as its new country manager for South Korea.
Kocher will replace KLA-Tencor Korea president Bruce Chung to head the South Korean operation of the firm.
Kocher will focus on expanding the company’s South Korean business and sales and support of its large customers in the country.
He will take the official post around the end of October.
Kocher had worked over 30 years in the fab equipment industry and has diverse experience, the company said.
He had worked 17 years at KLA as anapplication engineer, account manager, business development director and senior director of sales, KLA said.
His last two years at KLA before he joined again was overseeing the company’s business with Samsung, the company added.
