AI machine vision firm Twim is aiming to secure 200 billion won in sales in five years, its CEO told TheElec.

Twim CEO Jeong Han-seop said the company started by offering rule-based inspection kits but has now expanded to deep learning-based AI inspection equipment, which allowed it to secure revenue streams from various industries.

The company is aiming to record over 100 billion won in sales for the two years from 2022 to 2023, he said.

Then it will eye annual sales of 200 billion won in 2025, he added.

Twim was founded in 2010 and offers smart factory solutions that use AI and machine vision technologies.

It began offering AI inspection solutions in 2018. The company developed its own AI engine and can offer equipment with it that can be catered to a particular function in the factory.

The firm first supplied its solutions to the display industry but now provides its solutions in metal, tire and food pouch sectors, Jeong said.

It is supplying its solutions to around 40 companies, the CEO said.

Twim is planning to list on KOSDAQ in mid-November.

Smart factory solutions increase safety and lowers the cost of operating facilities, the CEO said.

Twim will actively expand abroad and commence research to increase its sales from its inspection kits, he added.
