AI inspection kit maker Twim records profit again in 2021

Firm aims to develop battery and tire inspection kits within 2022

AI inspection equipment maker Twim said on Friday that it has recorded 21.6 billion won in revenue and 1.2 billion won in operating profit in 2021.

It marks the second year that the company has marked a profit.

Twim said revenue from its AI inspection equipment was higher than its previous sources of revenue.

The company aims to complete development of AI inspection equipment for batteries and tires within the year, it said.

Twim offers rule-based vision inspection equipment and AI-based inspection equipment.

Rule-based equipment is used in OLED module production and measurement of alignment during production.

AI-based kits are used to inspect finished products before shipping.

Twim’s equipment is used in diverse industry sectors, from metal components, pharmaceuticals, food products to automobiles.
