Jeil M&S completes new battery kit factory

Jeil Machine & Solution (M&S) said on Wednesday that it has completed the construction of its new factory in its Gimhae facility.

The factory, which the company spent 15 billion won to build, will focus on manufacturing mixing equipment used in battery production.

Mixing equipment are very large so them being made in the seaside city of Gimhae is expected to save Jeil M&S in logistics cost.

Mixing equipment are used to make a slurry out of various materials.

The factory is expected to double Jeil M&S’ annual revenue when it goes fully live along with its original factory at Icheon.

The company’s customers include Northvolt, Samsung SDI, LG Energy Solution and SK On.

Meanwhile, Jeil M&S is planning to go public on the Korean bourse next year.
