SKC has launched a window film that consumers can attach themselves without the need to call experts, the company said Wednesday.

Window films block sunlight and ultraviolet light, which can reduce heating costs.

It can also prevent color fading in furniture.

The company’s film, dubbed SK Homecare Film DIY, can be attached and dettached multiple times.

Adhesion becomes strong over time so film will still be durable, and it is thicker than predecessors that will prevent creases, SKC said. It comes with a spatula and sandpaper, it added.

By not needing an expert for the job, consumers can save half their construction costs, SKC claimed.

The film comes in 150 centimeters and 75 centimeters and is available on Naver Shopping, Naver’s online shopping mall.
