Arm has unveiled a new suit of mobile IP that will offering greater efficiency and performance for 5G and AI, the company announced Tuesday.

They include the Cortex-A78 CPU, the Mali-G78 GPU, the Mali-G68 and the Ethos-N78 NPU.

Arm will also offer a new program that will allow customize the products for greater performances.

Cortex-A78 offers a 20% increase in sustained performance over Cortex-A77-based devices within a 1-watt power budget, the company said. It will better manage computing workload and increase on-device machine learning efficiency.

Mali-G78 GPU, meanwhile, was made with Valhall architecture, allowing it to process more data using the same space compared to its Mali-G77. It also delivers a 25 percent increase in performance compared to its predecessor.

Ethos-N78 NPU offer double peak performance over the N77 which makes it suited for on-device machine learning, Arm said, to handle AR and smart home applications.
