It is 80% cheaper than rivals, telco says
SK Telecom has launched a pay-per-use call center service aimed at enterprises based on Amazon Web Service’s (AWS) Amazon Connect cloud call center service.
The service, called Smart Contact Center, will be up to 80% cheaper than call centers that needs to be built, the carrier said, as it will save cost on real estate and fixed costs.
SK Telecom’s cloud service can also be used within a day or two by customers instead of taking two to three months to build like conventional call centers, it said.
