Filmed with smartphones in 8K
Samsung Electronics will showcase a film it produced called Untact filmed in 8K using smartphones, the company said.
The film was directed by Kim Jee-woon and starts actors Kim Go-eun and Kim Ju-han.
Untact will be romantic drama film.
The film will open at two 8K cinemas in Seoul __ one at Yeonnam and another at Seongsu.
It will also be available on Samsung’s YouTube channel.
Samsung said its 8K TV such as The Premier and The Frame will also be displayed at the two cinemas.
The South Korean tech giant said most of the film were recorded with the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy note 20 and hoped many consumers will experience the 8K ecosystem.
