Apple will offer free repair for iPhone 11’s display defect in South Korea.
The US firm announced the free repair program globally last week.
Consumers who bought iPhone 11s produced between November 2019 to May 2020 can ask for the free repair in countries and regions where they bought their phones.
They will have two years to turn in their phones for the repairs from the purchasing date.
Consumers can check whether their iPhone 11 is among the effected models by turning in their serial numbers at Apple’s homepage.
Those who already paid for repairs from the display defect can get a refund.
Millions of devices will likely effected from the program.
Back in November 2018, Apple had offered a free display module repair program the iPhone X as well.
There has been reports that iPhone 12, launched in October, also have a display issue where the screen becomes greenish. There has also been reports of fast battery drain and poor connections.
In October, Apple had offer free repair for its AirPod Pro Bluetooth earphones from the active noise canceling feature malfunctioning.
