LG Electronics has unveiled its 2021 TV lineup ahead of CES 2021.
It has unveiled a new OLED TV called OLED evo, model name G1, which the company said offer clearer resolution than predecessors.
The new TV has brighter screen compared to predecessors while also offering high contrast ratio, deep blacks and wide viewing angle like previous OLED TVs.
A new 83-inch OLED TV has been added to the roster. LG said it will have seven models of TVs with over 70-inch screen sizes this year.
For its liquid crystal display (LCD) TV lineup, LG will be launching around ten models of its new LG QNED TV in both 8K and 4K resolutions, the South Korea electronics manufacturer said.
LG will be using Alpha9 Gen4 processors for its TVs this year. The chip will come with deep learning technology that had analyzed over a million video data and 17 million sound data.
Its 8K OLED TV (model name Z1) will have a designated 8K Alpha9 processor.
LG will also show its webOS 6.0 based interface, shopping service WWW, AI Sound Pro and a new remote control at CES 2021.
