LG Electronics said Tuesday it has selected 51 software experts within the company to help mentor employees in software development.
These experts specialize in artificial intelligence, big data, coding, security and architect.
AI and big data experts were part of collaborative projects with Seoul National University and KAIST in South Korea. They also took part in projects with the University of Toronto and Carnegie Mellon University.
Software expects will help with software development, performance improvement and problem solving within the company, LG Electronics said.
They will also hold seminars to mentor other employees in software.
LG Electronics said it has selected over 500 software experts so far. It aims to recruit 500 more by 2023.
