Samsung Electronics said on Thursday that four models in its 2021 Neo QLED TV series has received certification for Gaming TV Performance from German electrical engineering institute Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE).
QN900, QN800, QN90, and QN85 were given the certificate for low input lag and HDR with over 1,000 nits in brightness, Samsung said.
The models had less than 10ms of input lag during gameplay. The TV has FreeSync Premium Pro that allowed for the high brightness for optimized contrast ratio, the Korean firm said.
Samsung said its Neo QLED TVs has 100% color volume and 12-bit backlight control.
A new wide game view and game bar will help with consumers’ gaming experience on the models, the company said.
